My normal evening skin care routine includes two make-up removers: the famous Lancome’s Bi-Facial, Double Action Eye Makeup Remover and the equally popular Sisley Cleansing Milk with White Lily for Dry/Sensitive Skin. I enjoy using both products followed by one of my favorite foaming facial cleansers, especially on those days when I wear make-up. However, when I don’t wear any make-up and just need to refresh my skin before going to bed, I prefer to use Murad’s Clarifying Wipes for Blemish Prone Skin, which sometimes feel a little harsh. When shopping at The Body Shop, I decided to check their skin care line, and their Vitamin E range caught my attention for its pleasant aroma and product descriptions promising great results. I did not jump in and buy all skin care products from that line, but decided to give one of the products a try.
After trying on the Vitamin E Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes in the store, I thought this could be a great alternative to my Murad’s Clarifying Wipes for Blemish Prone Skin, because Vitamin E Wipes felt rather mild and not as harsh as Murad’s Wipes. So, considering the fact that everything in the store was 40%-50% off, I thought, it was the best time to try something new without any regrets if the product does not work as I hoped for. Well, I have been using these wipes for less than a week and so far have no complains. The monthly supply of 25 wipes comes in a convenient and easy to use re-sealable plastic package and a promise to remove make-up and impurities. I did not use these wipes to remove make-up, but just to cleanse and refresh the skin at night, and, like I normally do, followed with a foaming facial cleanser, but I was happy with the delicate scent and the way my skin felt afterwards, cleansed, toned, moisturized and protected. This is especially important during winter season to have products that could help maintain your skin refreshed, soft and smooth. I definitely recommend this product, at least give it a try and see how it works for you.
