The deep shade of burgundy red was always associated with Fall and Winter Season. You can never go wrong by having at least one of these beautiful representatives in your collection. I purchased Manon 92 Nail Polish by Zoya based on internet images and need to say that I was not disappointed a bit. The color looks elegant and festive, but not screaming with bright pigmentation. A very quiet shade of dusty mauve burgundy with a subtle hint of shimmer that looks from silvery to blue depending on the angle, this nail polish will complement your dark colored fall and winter outfits without looking out of place or too overdone.
I noticed that many times, I tend to pick neutral and lighter nail polish shades, that I have to admit, dominate my collection. Adding Manon 92 Nail Color by Zoya to my collection does not take me from my comfort zone and I am sure I will have it at a very close reach during the upcoming Fall season, simply because it is one of those deeply pigmented, yet very elegantly romantic nail colors that could be equally suitable for both day or night. The Zoya signature black twistable cap of the nail polish holds a long and in my opinion a little too narrow brush. I wish it were a tiny bit wider, similar to, let’s say, Chanel nail color brushes.
Manon 92 Nail Polish by Zoya looked even when applied in two coats, but I think it appears its best when applied in three coats. I primed the nails with Butter London Nail Foundation Flawless Basecoatand followed with Deborah Lippmann Hard Rock Hardening Top Coat. Overall I am very impressed with this shade. It looks much more vibrant on the nails than in the bottle. The quality is impressive and up to Zoya Nail Polish standards (with the except of Pixie Dust Nail Polish line which I am disappointed with because of their rough texture that in my opinion is not very flattering both in looks and to touch). I will look forward to trying Zoya Fall-Winter Nail Color collections and hope I’ll share my new Zoya favorites with you soon.
