When I saw the eye shadow palettes from the MAC Wash & Dry collection, I decided to skit them, because the three shadow strips are so narrow that it would be very inconvenient to dip in it any medium size eye shadow brush, if, for example, you need to us one for applying an all-over lid color. So, when I ordered my collection items, I did not order any eyeshadow palettes. However, once in store, I decided to visit the MAC counter to look at those items that I decided not to buy, just to make sure that I did not skip any worthy products. When I saw the MAC Green Clean Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Wash and Dry Collection, I instantly loved the colors. The very sheer pearl white, which would look great as a shimmer highlight shade if you apply it in the middle of the lid.
The middle chartreuse yellow or green (depending on the light) is simply an amazing shade and would match the color of my eyes. Also, since I was into the chartreuse theme recently, since I got a Christian Louboutin, Mula Lisa Nail Polish in gorgeous yellow chartreuse color and the chartreuse lemon slices printed top from Anthropology, getting Green Clean palette from MAC simply became a must. Unfortunately, I was told in 2 department stores that this palette was completely sold out. Luckily, the sales associate in the third store (God bless the malls with their clusters of stores) brought the last palette from the back and I gladly took it home with me.
Out of three eyeshadow palettes presented as part of Wash & Dry Collection, the Green Clean palette is probably the most interesting one in terms of shade selection. The other two are Permanent Press with classy colors of beige, brown and shimmer black, and also the more unconventional Warm Wash featuring the vibrant shades of orange with gold pearl shimmer, peachy orange, and bronze with gold shimmer.
