Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

One of my most anticipated and memorable beauty goodies acquired during the Holiday 2013 shopping was Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. A big fan of Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders, I was excited at the unique and unprecedented opportunity to own not one but 3 of them at once and beautifully packages in a sleek Hourglass signature case. The three shades featured as part of Ambient Lighting Palette include:

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

Dim Light – a very popular shade of neutral peach beige powder that blurs imperfections and highlights a radiant complexion with the perfect balance of warm and cool tones.

Incandescent Light (This shade is exclusive to this palette and is not sold separately) – a very interesting shade of opalescent pearl powder, which brightens the complexion with a celestial glow.

Radiant Light – my favorite shade for summer and vacation time; a sun-kissed golden beige that enhances the overall complexion with believable, subtle warmth, and also extends a summer glow.

If you have never heard of or tried Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders, I suggest that you should not waste any more time and get hold of one shade that appeal to you most, or better this palette. The Hourglass high-tech, soft-focus Ambient finishing powders capture, diffuse, and soften the way light reflects on skin, and can be applied all over the face or in specific areas to recreate the most exquisitely flattering types of light. Once you have try and pay with several Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders, you can figure out for yourself how to create your perfect light, so for that purpose, I think, the Ambient Lighting Palette is simply perfect, since it offers best price value and allows you to try three shades. You can apply them separately or together by layering them in order to achieve any desired effect and an endless variety of multidimensional glow.

The uniqueness of Ambient Lighting Powders is in the groundbreaking technology that the brand used to create the collection of finishing powders. Unlike traditional powders that only work to mask imperfections, the Ambient Lighting Powders utilize photoluminescent technology that delivers a multidimensional luminescence to every skin tone, that filters out harsh light and refine the appearance of the complexion, by making it appear softer and as if lit from within. The finishing powders enhance skin in any type of light, including flash photography. Plus, as a bonus item included with the palette is a trial size Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer that I love.

My most favorite shade in the palette is the universal Dim Light, which you can never go wrong with. Even if you don’t know what do with these powders and just started using them, dust it all over the face and you will instantly notice and illuminated complexion. The Radiant light will be my go to shade for those summer month or vacation time when I want to enhance the impression of a sun-kissed skin. I use my Ambient Powder Brush with the shades in Ambient Lighting Palette and, based on my experience using the brush and the powders, I think, it works best with Ambient Lighting Powders than any Powder Foundation, Blush or Bronzer brush, because it was specifically designed for these powders.
