When it comes to Summer blushes and bronzers, I always end up picking either Chanel or Guerlain ones, because of their unique collectible designs. However, this summer, I will most likely go with Tom Ford and Dior. The new Dior Tie Dye Summer 2015 makeup collection is simply amazing. The two blushes, 01 Pink Sunrise and 02 Coral Sunset, introduced as part of the collection, have a unique tie dye design. When I first saw the blushes online, at the Dior webstore, I loved the 01 Pink Sunrise blush, however, when I tried it in store, I realized that it was not for me. I have a light skin with yellow undertone and the 01 Pink Sunrise, did not show up on my skin at all. I tried to build it up by reaplying it over and over, but it seems that it was not that pigmented. I would recommend this blush only to someone who has a very fair skin tone. At the same time, when I tried blush 02 Coral Sunset, I instantly love it. The Dior Diorskin Nude Tan Blush 02 Coral Sunset Tie Dye Collection is a beautiful warm coral shade that might look crazy bright when you see it in a pan. However, once you apply it, it gives your complexion a beautiful sun-kissed glow. It is very pigmented and has a subtle shimmer.
The blush comes with a Dior signature dark blue velvet duster pouch and a very nice Kabuki brush, which came as a pleasant surprise to me. I think, the brush has natural bristle, but I might be mistaken about that. The top of the silver round compact is decorated with Dior signature cannage design, which adds charm to the practical beauty and overall quality of the blush. This compact will definitely make a great decoration to any vanity table or drawer. I would highly recommend this blush not only if you need one this season, but also for any makeup collector, since this is a limited edition blush and hot seasonal item.
