I’ve been using WEN Cleansing Conditioners on and off for a while now. The classic scents are always available in small sizes (16 oz) in Sephora, if you want to try them. However, I got really hooked up on the WEN seasonal scents that are available only for a limited time during any particular season. Thus, all spring and into the summer of last year, I enjoyed the Spring Orange Blossom scented cleansing conditioner. And when the fall came, I had the Fall Tuscan Pear in my shower. Just in time for the holidays season, Chaz Dean brought in Vanilla Mint, a perfect holiday and winter scent. I got a 32 oz. bottle that lasted for more than 3 months.
I have colored hair that tends to get especially dry during summer and winter months. I used it exclusively an noticed that the color did not wash off with time, as is the case with other shampoos that strip your color away. It was just as was advertised by the brand. I had my color appointment in late December and when I came back in April, my hair stylist was impressed with the way my hair color was holding, so bright and rich. Also, with WEN my hair care routine has been completely simplified that saves me so much time and money. WEN Cleansing Conditioned replaced several products: shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, leave-in conditioner, and detangler. My hair feels soft, yet heavier than before, and has that beautiful luster of a
I use it in the shower at the beginning of my shower ritual. I start by applying a generous amount (about 3-4 pumps) to the entire length of the hair and lightly massaging it into the roots and scalp, and adding a tiny bit of water to evenly distribute all over. Then, I secure my hair into a bun with a scrunchy and continue taking a shower. This way, I allow the product to cleanse and nourish my hair while I am taking a shower. At the end, when I am ready to get out, I remove the scrunchy and once again massage the cleansing conditioner thoroughly into hair and finally rinse it off completely, the same way you would rinse off any conditioner or a hair mask.
Lilac is one of my most favorite scents and especially so in Spring. So, just imagine how excited I got when I found out that Chaz Dean brought Honey Lilac as one of his Spring 2015 Limited Edition lines?! However, regrettably, I almost was not able to get it, since it was immediately sold out and I was lucky to get it on a wait list. The WEN by Chaz Dean Spring Honey Lilac Cleansing Conditioner Limited Edition is the beautiful scent with notes of honey and garden-fresh lilac and rose; a light and fresh, green fragrance. I think, it is simply perfect for Spring, allowing to enjoy subtle lilac aroma with every whiff of a warm spring breeze.
